The 2017 Masters USA season is shaping up to be the best yet

27 March 2017

The 2017 Masters USA season is shaping up to be the best yet with three F1 support races on the 2017 calendar and trips to the famous road circuits of Laguna Seca, Mosport and Road America thrown into the mix.

The US season kicks off on 19/21 May with a West Coast trip to the inaugural Spring Classic at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. This year SCRAMP will also be celebrating 60 years of racing at this iconic circuit synonymous for the famous Corkscrew. There are already 15 cars entered with the hope of a few more entering the race – Formula 1 machinery on this technical circuit is sure to delight crowds and drivers alike!

Just three weeks after the Spring Classic, Masters USA is making a trip to Montreal as a support race at the Canadian GP 9/11 June.

Five days later, Masters USA goes to the Mosport circuit, which hosted the Canadian GP from the early 60s through the late 70s and remains relatively unchanged since that time. The VARAC Vintage Grand Prix at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park on 15/16 June is sure to be a weekend that echoes the bygone years of the Canadian Grand Prix with many of the Montreal cars giving Mosport a go on their way South.

Following the first three events the next stop is Road America for WeatherTech International presented by The Hawk on 21/23 July before heading south for the double-header finale as support races to the US GP on 20/22 October, and then the Mexican GP a week later.
